How to apply for the KSP SI KSISF examination 2021-2022?

Follow the steps given below to apply for the KSP SI exam:

Visit the official website of the Karnataka State Police i.e. ksisfsi21.ksponline.co.in.

  • Click on the ‘New Application’ tab on the homepage.
  • A new window displaying the guidelines will open. Read the given instructions carefully and click on ‘I agree’ and ‘Submit’
  • A new page will appear. Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, Aadhar card number, email address, phone number etc.
  • Upload thumb impression, signature, passport size photograph and identity card as per the instructions given on the page.
  • Check the information again and click on ‘Save’.
  • Generate the challan and pay the prescribed examination fee on or before march 5, 2022 as per the instructions given in the notification. 
  • Candidates can print their application two days after payment of the fee at the bank.

  • Exam fee should be paid at HDFC bank branches or post offices only.
  • After filling in the online application form, candidates should generate the challan and pay the examination fee at the HDFC bank or post office.

Exam Pattern of the KSP SI KSISF Test 2021-2022

The KSP SI exam for the Karnataka State Industrial Security Force is conducted in two stages:

  • Physical Standard Test (PST) and Endurance Test (ET):

Only those candidates who pass the PST and Endurance test are eligible to appear for the written examination. Before applying for the examination, candidates should carefully go through the minimum physical standards and other endurance test related criteria given in the notification.

  • Written Test:

It comprises two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 contains 2 parts and carries 50 marks. Whereas, Paper 2 consists of questions pertaining to general studies and general mental ability. It is mandatory for candidates to score 30% or more to pass the written exam.

  • Medical Examination:

After the written test, medical examination of provisionally selected candidates will be conducted by the Medical Board. Medical examination will consist of the following tests:

  • Vision test
  • Hearing test
  • Chest X-ray etc

Only those candidates who are declared physically fit will be considered for appointment. After the medical examination, verification of documents and antecedents of candidates will be carried out by the Appointment Authority.

  • Training and Probation

Selected candidates will undergo training as specified by the DG and IGP. It is essential to successfully complete the training.

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years and 6 months (inclusive of the training period)
