Exam Pattern of the Rajasthan Patwari Post 2023
The Rajasthan Patwari 2021 examination comprises a written examination followed by document verification (DV). The written examination is of objective type comprising 5 sections, namely:
- General Science, History, Polity and Geography of India: General Knowledge, Current affairs
- Geography, History, Culture, and Polity of Rajasthan
- General English & Hindi
- Mental ability and Reasoning, Basic Numerical efficiency
- Basic Computer
The number of questions for each section varies. The highest weightage in terms of number of questions (and marks) is given to ‘Mental ability and Reasoning, Basic Numerical efficiency’ (30%) and ‘General Science, History, Polity and Geography of India: General Knowledge, Current affairs’ (25%) sections. The pattern of the written examination conducted in 2021 comprising number of questions, approximate weightage etc is given in the table below.

- There is negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.

Document verification for Rajasthan Patwari Examination 2023
Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for document verification. The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) will release a notice related to document verification. Candidates should carry their original documents for verification. The names of the documents required during verification include:
- Class 10th certificate containing the date of birth of the candidate
- Marksheets of class 10th
- Graduation certificate
- Address Proof
- Identity Card/proof
- Category (SC/ST and other categories as mentioned in the notification published by the RSMSSB) certificate issued by a competent authority.
- Passport size photographs
- Computer proficiency certificate
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Other relevant documents
Candidates should visit the official website of the RSMSSB i.e. rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in and carefully go through the instruction given by the Board before filling the ‘Detailed Scrutiny Form.’
