According to Section 11 (B) of the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 functions of the Taluk Legal Services Committee is as follows:
- Co-ordinate the activities of legal services in the taluk.
- Organise Lok Adalats within the taluk and
- Perform such other functions as the District Authority may assign to it.
