It was held at Katowice, Poland between 2 and 15 December 2018. The conference’s objective was to have a full implementation of the Paris agreement. The result of COP24 was that rules on the implementation of the Paris Agreement were agreed upon. In other words, a rulebook was formed on how governments will measure and report on their emissions-cutting efforts.
