Portland cement is a type of cement obtained by pulverizing clinker, consisting of hydraulic calcium silicates to which some calcium sulfate has usually been provided as an interground addition.
Portland cement is widely used in construction to make concrete. This concrete is used to build structures such as dams, bridges, buildings, pavements etc.
