REDD+ stands for ‘Reducing emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation’. It is an international framework for the conservation of existing forest carbon stocks, sustainable forest management and enhancement of forest carbon stocks’.
The main aim of REDD+ is to encourage developing countries to contribute to climate change mitigation efforts
