What was the aim of the Singh Sabha movement?

The aim of the Singh Sabha movement was to propagate the Sikh religion to its former glory and bring back into the Sikh fold the apostates who had converted to other religions.

At the time of its founding in the 1870s, the Singh Sabha policy was to avoid criticism of other religions and political matters.
