Where are the Western Ghats located?

The Western Ghats are located on the western side of the Deccan plateau. They lie parallel to the western coast. They are continuous and can be crossed through passes only. They extend from the Satpura Range in the north, stretching from Gujarat to Tamil Nadu. It traverses south through the states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, and Kerala.
