Red sea separates the continent of Asia and Africa. The Isthmus of Suez in eastern Egypt connects the continents of Africa and Asia and separates the Mediterranean sea and the Red Sea. It is one of the main routes used for the transportation of oil and is also useful in carrying trade from surrounding countries like Europe, Saudi Arabia, and various other eastern countries.
