Subsidy on LPG gas cylinders cannot be availed by people whose annual income is more than Rs 10 lakhs, it includes combined earnings of husband and wife. You can read about the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) – UPSC Notes in the given link.
If the concerned persons’ annual income is less than Rs 10 lakhs then the LPG ID and Aadhar Number has to be linked to the bank account. The subsidy amount is directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary by the Government.
