The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has come up with a unique scheme to prevent malpractices like cheating during ICSE and ISC exams. From 2016 onwards, the answer sheets booklets will consist a candidate’s Photograph, UID (Unique Identification Number) and also the name of the subject printed on it.
Till 2015, the students had to fill these details on their own. Officials expressed concern for students about how they end up writing their UIDs wrongly due to exam stress. This development of printed UID and photographs, made by CISCE will prevent these.
The answer booklet of ICSE Class 10 will contain 16 pages and that of ISC (Class XII) will have 20 pages.
This whole process is to ensure transparency and confidentiality during exams and declaration of result and will make exams hassle free for a student.
Students of ICSE class 10 can find study materials including previous years question papers, sample papers, specimen papers and other question papers freely from our website BYJU’S for physics, maths, biology and chemistry subjects.
