JEE Advanced 2020 Registration for Foreign Nationals Begin

JEE Advanced 2020 Registration Opened for Foreign Nationals

JEE Advanced 2020 registration process facility has been opened for foreign nationals. Students who are abroad can register for the entrance exam via online medium. All those who have cleared their 10+2 level or are studying at such level can apply for the exam.

Aspirants can visit the official website, jeeadv.ac.in, fill in the application form and submit it. As per the official notice, the last date to apply for JEE Advanced 2020 is kept on September 17, 2020 (5 pm). Further, the last date for fee payment has to to be completed by September 18, 2020.

Meanwhile, JEE Advanced is scheduled to be conducted on September 27, 2020, Sunday. Candidates will have to write two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2 and the duration of the exam will be three hours. Candidates will have to appear for both the exams.

JEE Advanced Eligibility for Foreign Nationals

Foreign candidates are not required to write and clear JEE Main 2020. They can directly register for JEE(Advanced) 2020 if they fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the exam authority.

In order to be eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates should not be citizens of India (by birth or naturalized). They should have studied (are studying) abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent at the time of registering for JEE(Advanced) 2020.

Candidates from SAARC countries USD 75
Candidates from Non-SAARC countries USD 150

  • Birth Certificate
  • Class XII Pass Certificate
  • Valid ID proof
  • Citizenship certificate/Passport
  • Testimonial (if required)

Seat Allocation

Foreign national are allotted seats in IITs with a 10 per cent cap on the total number of seats in every course.

Foreign nationals do not enjoy the benefit of reservation of seats under the SC, ST, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, and PwD (Persons with Disability) categories as directed by Government of India.
