JEE Mains Result 2018 – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare JEE Mains 2018 result on 30th of April 2018 (Paper 1) for the examination conducted on 8th of April (Offline Exam) and 15th – 16th of April 2018 (Online Exam). JEE Mains Result 2018 will be declared only in the online mode. Around 1.3 Million students appeared for this exam. The students are offered admission to IIITs (International Institute of Information Technology), NITs (National Institutes of Technology), and CFTIs (Central Funded Technical Institutes) based on the ranks obtained in JEE Mains. The students can check and download JEE Mains 2018 result from the official website www.cbseresults.nic.in. or http://jeemain.nic.in. The top 2.24 lakh students qualifying mains (Paper 1) will be eligible for appearing in IIT JEE Advanced. JEE Mains result 2018 comprises of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (Paper 1) along with the status of candidates qualifying for appearing in JEE Advanced. JEE Main scorecard will also display All India Rank and All India Category Rank. Admissions to IIITs, NITs, SFIs, CFTIs, and other private colleges accepting JEE Mains score will be done based on the All India Ranks (General & Category) secured by the candidates. The candidates can check JEE Main results 2018 by submitting their date of birth and roll number.

How to Download JEE Main Results 2018?
- Visit http://jeemain.nic.in or www.cbseresults.nic.in to check your JEE Main 2018 results.
- Enter your D.O.B (date of birth) and roll number.
- Once you have submitted the required details, JEE Main results 2018 will be displayed on your screen.
- The students are advised to download and print JEE Main 2018 Result and keep it safe for future references.
JEE Mains counselling 2018 will begin from 3rd week of June 2018. Based on JEE Main ranks the students will be eligible for participating in the counselling process.
JEE Main Result 2018 – Rank List
JEE Main rank will also be declared at the time of JEE Main result announcement. All India Ranks will be considered for admission to IIITs, NITs, CFTIs, and SFIs. Tie-breaking rules will be applied in case where two or more students secure equal marks:
Resolution 1: The student scored higher marks in Mathematics will be given a higher rank.
Resolution 2: The student scored higher marks in Physics will be given a higher rank.
Resolution 3: The student with greater absolute value (ratio of positive and negative marks) will be given a better rank.
However, if all the above-mentioned resolutions will fail then, in that case, all the candidates with equal marks will be given same rank in JEE Main Results.
JEE Mains 2018 Results – Cutoff Marks
JEE Mains cutoff marks will be declared along with the result. The cutoff marks depend on various factors like the difficulty level of question paper, the total number of students appeared, seat availability, previous year’s cutoff trends, etc. After checking JEE Main result 2018, the candidates can check category wise cutoff marks and accordingly apply for various programmes offered by the participating institutes.

JEE Main Results 2018 – Counselling Procedure
Every year JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) organizes a common counseling procedure for admissions to various undergraduate engineering courses. Based on JEE Mains 2018 result the students will be called for participating in the counselling procedure which will be starting tentatively from June 3rd week 2018. There are 4 steps involved in the counseling procedure. The students are required to complete the given steps through online mode only:
