The Central Board of Secondary Education or the CBSE has recently announced twenty-three new exam centres for NEET. The CBSE is currently organizing the National Entrance Exam Test (NEET). With the inclusion of 23 new cities for the examination, NEET 2017 will now be held in 103 cities across the country. Hence making it to the equal number of examination centres as JEE Main 2017.
Candidates can revise their exam city centres and have time till midnight on March 27th to do so. The new centres include cities from the states of West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh.
Here is a list of the new cities included as examination centres for NEET 2017
Howrah and Kharagpur (West Bengal), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Namakkal, Tirunelveli, Vellore (Tamil Nadu), Jodhpur (Rajasthan), Amritsar (Punjab), Ahmednagar, Amravati, Kolhapur, Satara (Maharashtra), Kannur, Thrissur (Kerala), Davangere, Hubli, Mysore, Udupi (Karnataka), Anand, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Guntur, Tirupathi (Andhra Pradesh).
How to Make the Exam City Correction: NEET 2017
First Step:
Visit the NEET 2017 official website, http://cbseneet.nic.in
Second Step:
Under Online Services, you will find “Exam City Correction”, click on the link
Third Step:
Use your password and registration number to Login
Fourth Step:
Choose a particular city from where you want to take your examination
Fifth Step:
Save the changes made and click submit
Candidates who have already registered for the NEET 2017 can choose their examination centre between the dates of March 24 to March 27.
On successful application of their new choice of exam cities, candidates will be allotted the centres based on the total number of candidates opted for the particular city for NEET 2017.
