The NTA (National Testing Agency), the regulatory body for NEET, has declared results on its official website. In its official notification, dated 1st November 2021, the NTA, alongside declaring results, has also released the final set of answer keys for NEET-UG 2021.

  • Exam held across 202 cities at 3858 different exam centers
  • NEET 2021 was conducted on foreign lands – Dubai and Kuwait
  • The question paper was available in Malayalam and Punjabi too, in addition to the existing 11 language mediums
  • In addition to results being declared on the official website, the scorecard of individual students was sent through mail to their registered email addresses
  • The results of 15 candidates were cancelled as they were identified using unfair practices in the examination

Regarding 15% All India Quota Seats

The DGHS (Directorate UR of Health Services), Government of India shall conduct the counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, central universities, deemed universities, AFMC, ESIC, AMU & BHU seats. Visit the official website (mcc.nic.in) for further details. Candidates are required to apply for the 15% AIQ seats as specified by the DGHS. The process of counselling shall be stopped once the seats are completely filled.

Regarding State Quota Seats

Candidates can apply to their domicile states and merit list in accordance with the rules of the state and on the basis of the India Rank formulated by the respective counselling authorities for the state quota and other seats which are under the ambit of states. The respective State Counselling Authority also conducts counselling for its Private Medical Colleges. Candidates are suggested to regularly follow their concerned counselling authorities and institutions for further details and updates.

Note

The NTA conducts the exam and declares the results on the basis of the eligibility criteria presented by the National Medical Commission. Candidates provided their category as per the National Category List, on the basis of which the results have been announced. The All India Rank has been provided to candidates by the NTA. The admitting officials shall draw the merit list on the basis of the All India Rank for seats of the medical courses under the scope of its jurisdiction.

When a candidate applies to its State, the category that must be mentioned is as per the State category list. Then, the State Counselling Authorities will prepare the merit list accordingly, and the same goes with the domicile. The NTA is not involved in this process and is also not involved in making any changes to the data.
