NEET PG 2017 Results

NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) results for 2017 was released recently. The candidates who had appeared for the exam will be able to check their results from the official site viz. nbe.edu.in. The results would be the main criteria for filling seats in almost every private, government and Armed Forces institutes and other top institutes like JIPMER, AIIMS, SRICHITRA Institute, PIGMER, and NIMHANS. To gain admission to the postgraduate program, candidates should score a minimum of 50 percentile.

Candidates should be aware of the fact that they would be eligible to take part in the online counseling for 50 percent quota seats in the All India level if they have scored below the necessary cut-off scores for their respective category despite scoring above or equal to the minimum percentile for qualifying.

The NEET official website would be updated shortly with the quota seats of 50 per cent at the All India level counselling schedule. To view the schedule for further information, candidates could visit the site mcc.nic.in.  There would be around 31,330 candidates who are eligible to take part in the online counselling for the quota seats 50 per cent at the All India level as per the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) /MoHFW, Government of India guidelines

How to check the NEET PG 2017 Results

  • Visit the official website
  • Click the link named ‘NEET-PG 2017 All India 50% quota result-cum-score card’
  • Input the Testing ID and Password
  • Once the details are entered, the screen will display the results
  • You could take a printed copy for use in future

Regarding the Counselling Process for NEET PG 2017

The counselling process for the same would be carried out in two rounds. Candidates invited for the first round would have to book their seats at the first counselling round. After the completion of the first round, the candidates would be expected to be present at the college allocated to them. In case the candidates fail to appear at the allocated venue on time, the seats would be emptied and kept available for the second counselling round. The last or second round would be conducted again with the candidates who are eligible to be present for the same.
