NTA Clarifies on Release of NEET 2020 Admit Card
On 22nd May 2020 NTA, in its official notification clarified and shed light on the release date of NEET Admit card. NEET 2020 is rescheduled to take place on 13th September 2020. Earlier the exam was to be carried out on 3rd May 2020. However, in the wake of COVID-19 Pandemic, the exam got postponed.

NEET, the most prestigious national level medical entrance exam serves as the direct gateway for admissions to medical courses across the country. Qualifying the exam enables students to seek admissions in any of the medical institutes across India. From this year onwards, NEET 2020 onwards would also serve as the qualifying exam for entrance to AIIMS and JIPMER institutes.

The statement of the official notification read as follows:

” The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now decided that the rescheduled National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG – 2020 will be held on 13th September 2020(Sunday) from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.”

Furthermore, the notification stated the following on the release of NEET 2020 admit card –

“The dates of downloading of Admit card indicating Roll number and centre of the examination will be displayed 15 days before the conduct of examination as the official websites of NTA – nta.ac.in and NEET UG 2020 – ntaneet.nic.in”

Candidates and parents are suggested to regularly keep up with the aforementioned official websites for the latest on happenings on NEET.
