The Indira Gandhi National open University issued a notification via twitter that it has released the registration forms for Term End Examination, TEE 2022 on its official website. The forms were released on 1 June, 2022. Candidates should note that the datesheet that was earlier announced by IGNOU is tentative and the final version of it will be released later on the official website.
The last date to submit the application form is just after 25 days from the release of the forms i.e. 25 July 2022. The examination will be conducted between July 22, 2022 and September 5, 2022. The application fee has to be paid via online mode i.e. net banking, debit card (Master/Visa/Rupay) or credit card (Master/Visa)
The admission test is being conducted for the programmes that Open and Distance Mode (ODL) offers. The university which was established by an Act of Parliament in 1985, offers around 250 programmes in various fields. There are various certificate programmes, PG diploma, master degrees, bachelor’s degrees, appreciation level programmes and PG certificates that the university offers.
A fee of 200 needs to be paid by the candidates for getting registered for theory and practical examinations. Only those students who have applied for the exams will be eligible to sit for the exam. Candidates who will apply late for the exam will have to pay late fees of 1100, which is allowed only till June 30, 2022., after which the students won’t be allowed to apply for the examination.
Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category are eligible to apply for the facility of fee exemption but that offer is only valid if they apply for one exam. In case students have applied for more than one exam then students can’t appeal to claim for fee exemption. In case they do then the university has the authority to reject all the applications filed by the particular candidate.
The examination will be conducted in two shifts:
1 Shift: 10 a.m to 1 p.m
2 Shift: 2 p.m to 5 p.m
The national open university has recently notified that it has extended the last date to submit Project/ dissertation/ field/ work journals/ Internship reports for June 2022. Earlier the deadline to submit the above mentioned works was May 31, 2022 but now the university has revised the date, as per the new notification, the last date for submission is June 15, 2022.
