The National Testing Agency has released the CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 revised exam date for the candidates who faced technical glitches while attempting the examinations, which were scheduled between August 4th and August 6th, 2022.
According to the notification, which was released on August 7, 2022, the revised CUET 2022 Phase 2 exam dates are August 24 and 28, 2022.
Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website for updates on admit cards for these particular exams. The news was first announced on Twitter, via UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar on his Twitter handle. Earlier, the examinations were scheduled to be conducted from August 12 to August 14, 2022.
The UGC Chairman also tweeted that the rest of the examinations will be conducted according to the schedule which was earlier released by the National Testing Agency. The examination, which was conducted on the afternoon of August 2022, went smoothly.
NTA has been following all the guidelines and proper measures have been taken in order to avoid any more hurdles. In the event of any confusion or discrepancy, candidates are advised to contact the examination conducting authority.
The NTA was unable to upload the question paper on time due to technical difficulties. First, the issue came up during the morning session, which commenced at 9 am. During this time, 4,000 candidates were not able to appear for the examination.
The technical issues increased by the second session, which was scheduled to start at 3 pm and continue till 6:45 pm, and as a result, more than 50,000 candidates were not able to give the examination. Some candidates also complained that they were not able to complete their examinations due to the same issue.
Due to heavy rainfall in Kerala, NTA had earlier announced that it decided to take the step of postponing the examinations which were scheduled to be conducted between August 4th and 6th. The notification was released for those candidates who were appearing for the CUET-UG examination in centres which were located in Kerala.
