CUET UG 2022: Another exam cancellation has been announced. Due to technical glitches, NTA had to cancel phase 4 of the Common University Entrance Examination (CUET-UG). Earlier, also NTA had to cancel the examination because of technical glitches. As a result, more than 50,000 candidates could not appear for their entrance examination.
The examinations which were scheduled to be conducted between August 4th and August 6th had to be rescheduled, since the question papers could not be uploaded on time due to the glitches. As a result, candidates could not attempt the examination. After several similar reports, NTA opened a fresh window in order to enhance the server capacity, so that the question papers could be uploaded on time.
The admit cards for phase 4 examinations were released on August 13, 2022. The agency will have to reschedule the examination for the candidates who could not appear for the phase 4 examination, which commenced today, on August 17, 2022.
According to various media reports, some of the examination centres where the examination could not be conducted are Guru Hargobind Institute of Management and Information Technology, JNM College Kaushal Nagar in Varanasi, etc. The examination, which was supposed to be conducted in the morning shift, got cancelled at some centres, whereas it went smoothly in others.
Some candidates also reported that their examination centres were changed at the last minute, due to which they were not able to appear for the examination. NTA will be rescheduling the examination for these candidates also. Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official websites of NTA, nta.ac.in, or CUET-UG, cuet.samarth.ac.in, for more details.
