Punjab Secondary Education Board (PSEB) has announced the Class 10 results on 29 May 2020. Meanwhile, the results for classes 5 and 8 have also been officially released. Students who appeared for the exams can access these results online from the pseb official website.
Punjab Board had promoted the students according to their marks for the pre-board exams.
The exams scheduled for March, had been cancelled following the coronavirus pandemic scare and the succeeding lockdown. The PSEB Class 10 and 12 board exams were to be conducted from 20 March 2020 to 31 March 2020, which got cancelled. These exams were rescheduled to be held on 1 April 2020, which also had to be cancelled. The PSEB cancelled all the exams including those scheduled for classes 5 and 8, as well.
On 8 May, meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh, the Chief Minister of Punjab had announced that the state government was planning to promote the children of all classes 5, 8 and 10 on the basis of their pre board exam marks. At the same time, for Class 12, the board is planning to go as per the Government of India’s decisions.
