Answer: The climate of India is regulated by a lot of factors:

Answer: The Monsoon of the Arabian Sea hits the Western Ghats. There it drops around 300 cm of rain. The Western ghats come under the rain shadow area. Thus, they receive very less rainfall.
The Nagpur branch of the Arabian Sea monsoon that moves across the Narmada-Tapti valley, connects with the Bay of Bengal. Other branches pass through the states Gujarat, Rajasthan, etc. and reach the Western Himalayas. As Rajasthan is situated parallel to the Aravalli ranges, very less rainfall happens here.

Answer: The Jet Stream ideology is about the pattern of growth of the storm.
What is a jet stream?
Air current flows at a fast speed from the west over West Asia and Central Asia. This air flows across the thin zone in the atmosphere’s upper layer. This is called the Jet stream.
The highlands of Tibet work as a barrier for the jet streams. Then it gets divided into two.
The Jet stream is divided into two categories:
i) Tropical Eastern Jet
ii) Semi-Tropical Western Jet
Q5. Explain the relationship of rainfall in Rajasthan with Aravalli ranges.
Answer: Rajasthan is divided into two parts by the Aravalli ranges.
This occurs due to the amount of rainfall received by these parts. The eastern part receives more rainfall as compared to the western part of the state.
As the state is parallel to the Aravalli ranges, the amount of rainfall is less here.
