The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (DGE) conducts the TN 10th (SSLC) board exam in the state. This year, the TN Board conducted the SSLC (Class 10th) exams from 6th April 2023 to 20 April 2023. Along with conducting the exams, the Board is also responsible for announcing the results. Step 1: Visit the TN Board’s official website, https://tnresults.nic.in.

Step 2: Enter your registration number and date of birth.

Step 2: Enter your registration number and date of birth.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Get Marks’ button.

Step 4: The TN Board SSLC (Class 10) result will be displayed on your screen. Download and take a printout.

However, this printout cannot be a replacement for the original marks card.

In 2021, the TN SSLC Board (Class 10) exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the results were announced based on internal assessments. More than 9 lakh students were awarded marks in the TN SSLC Board (Class 10) 2020-2021 exams on the basis of their quarterly and half-yearly exams. Attendance was also a criteria while preparing the final scorecard.

Every year, The Tamil Nadu SSLC Board for Class 10 usually has an average enrolment of 9.5 lakh students. The numbers dipped low in 2019, when only 9,37,859 students appeared for the TN SSLC Board exams.
