Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) cutoff 2023 will be released on the official website (https://upsee.nic.in) after the results for JEE Main 2023 [Date yet to be decided]. The cutoff is listed in the form of opening rank and closing rank. The cutoff score differs for various colleges, courses and categories.

UPSEE (UPCET) 2023 Cutoff: Tie-breaker

If more than one candidate scores the same marks, the following steps are used in calculating their ranks.

  • Firstly, candidates having a lesser percentage of incorrect answers will be placed at higher merit.

  • Candidates are given preference based on the marks obtained by them in Drawing Aptitude, Mathematics & Aesthetics sensitivity section of Paper 3 respectively

 

  • Next preference is given to the candidate who is older. The older candidate is given higher merit.

  • Candidates are given preference based on the marks obtained by them in the Biology and Chemistry sections of Paper 2, respectively

 

  • Next preference is given to the age of the candidate. The older candidate is given higher merit.
B.Tech./ MCA (Integrated)/ M Tech (Integrated)
  • Candidates are given preference based on the marks obtained by them in the Mathematics and Physics sections of Paper 1, respectively

 

  • After that, preference is given to the candidates who are older. The older candidates are given higher merit.
B.Tech.(Biotechnology) The rank calculation is done in the same way as B.Tech./B.Pharm courses.
