Candidates should be aware that the schedule for the CAT exam has been fairly consistent over the years, with a few minor deviations only under exceptional circumstances.

• The last date for CAT 2023 registration was 21 September 2023 at 11 pm. The CAT 2023 Exam is scheduled on 26 November 2023 in three slots.
• It is imperative that candidates register for this exam within the stipulated timeline to avoid any last-minute delays.
• After they successfully register on the website, they can proceed for CAT admit Card download process. The link for downloading the CAT 2023 Exam admit card is LIVE and the candidates can download the CAT admit card from the iimcat.ac.in website.
• The exam conducting authority will release Admit Card for CAT exam only in online mode; there are no provisions to send the admit card via the postal and courier services to the respective addresses of the registered candidates.
• The candidates who are applying for the exam can download their respective CAT Admit Card 2023 from the official website from 7 November 2023 till the exam date.

Steps to Follow CAT Admit Card Download

Below are the steps to download the CAT exam admit card from the official website of the CAT conducting body.

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official CAT 2023 website of the Indian Institute of Management (iimcat.ac.in), which they had used earlier to register for the exam.
• Step 2: They will find the ‘Registered Candidate Login’ link on the website homepage. They should click on that link to proceed further.
• Step 3: Candidates can use the registered User ID and the Password that they had generated earlier while registering for the CAT exam. (Candidates must also have the ID and password details with them when they are taking the CAT Exam 2023).

• Step 4: After entering the login details, the candidates will get a pop-up window that will state that the CAT application form is submitted successfully. They should click on the close tab, which will then carry the candidates to the main dashboard page.
• Step 5: The main dashboard page will have all details related to the candidate like name, date of birth, registration number, etc. It will also have a link to download the admit card.
• Step 6: Once they click on the download link, the IIM CAT Admit Card 2023 will appear on the computer screen with details about the test centre and exam timings. The candidates must click on the ‘Download’ button present below the CAT Admit Card to save the soft copy of the hall ticket.
• Step 7: After they have downloaded the soft copy of the admit card for CAT exam, they can proceed to take a printout. Candidates are advised to take multiple printouts to ensure that they have a spare copy in case one or more printouts get lost due to unforeseen circumstances.

The CAT hall ticket is the official document issued by the governing body of the exam, the Indian Institute of Management. It contains all the important details related to the candidate and the exam timings. CAT Admit Card 2023 – Points to be Noted

• It is important to note that the CAT Exam Admit Card 2023 will be available to the candidates only in online mode.
• There is no provision for sending the hard copy of the admit card for CAT exam to the applicant at their address.
• Each candidate must visit the official link for downloading the admit card and make arrangements to get it printed themselves.

Exam Day Instructions Mentioned in CAT Exam Admit Card

• Ensure that you print your Admit Card on A4 size paper using a laser printer and bring it on the day of the Examination for verification. The Admit Card is only valid if your photograph and signature images are clearly printed. Affix the same photograph as uploaded during CAT registration in the designated space. Present the Admit Card for verification at the test time, and note that it is valid only for the specified test date and session time in the ‘Test Day Details’ section.
• Bring one original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the government, such as PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card (with photograph), E-Aadhaar, Ration Card, or Identification Affidavit, along with the Admit Card. Ensure that the Photo Identification Proof is undamaged and unsmudged.
• Arrive at the center at the designated Reporting/Entry time; no entry will be allowed after the Gate Closing Time.
• Candidates are not permitted to leave the Test Center before the conclusion of the test.
• Plan ahead and locate your Test Center a day before the test to ensure timely arrival on the test day.
• Candidates will be provided with a writing pad and pen for rough work, which must be returned after the test. Clearly write your name and application number on the writing pad.
• Prohibited items inside the Test Center include mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, stationery items, papers, wallets, goggles, etc. Candidates must avoid wearing jewelry or items containing metal. There is no provision for the safekeeping of personal belongings outside the Test Hall, and the Test Conducting Authority is not responsible for any damage or loss.
• Thick-soled shoes/footwear and garments with large buttons are not allowed.
• Attempting to appear for the test more than once will result in disqualification from CAT 2023.
• Candidates are responsible for making their own travel and stay arrangements for the test.
• The Admit Card is provisional, contingent on the candidate meeting eligibility conditions like academic qualification, category, PwD status, etc., as specified in the application. This is subject to verification in subsequent stages of the selection process.
• Requests for changing the Test Center will not be considered.
• Parents/Guardians accompanying the candidate are not permitted inside the test center.
• Violating any of the above guidelines, including impersonation or breaking the code of conduct for CAT 2023, will lead to the cancellation of candidature and/or legal action.
