Saksham – 2017
- Is a month long awareness programme by Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum & Natural Gas
- Saksham -Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsav
- It is aimed to create awareness amongst masses towards judicious utilization and conservation of petroleum products along with use of energy efficient appliances and switching to cleaner fuels
- During one-month long drive, workshops will be conducted for drivers of commercial vehicles and housewives, cooks on adopting simple fuel saving measures
Khelo India National Competitions
- Organized under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports by SAI (Sports Authority of India)
- from 15thJan, 2017 to 21stJan, 2017 in Delhi
- competitions in Swimming, Cycling and Wrestling will be held
- more 25 states/UTs will be participating
