UPSC Civil Services Exam Cut-off Marks 2015 Released

UPSC Civil Services Exam Cut-off Marks 2015  for IAS, IPS as well as Indian Forestry Services (IFS) Exam was released. UPSC calls it as minimum qualifying standard (marks) which we know as cutoff score. In the Civil Services Examination, 2015 the minimum qualifying standards (marks)/marks scored by the last suggested candidate in different categories at various stages are given below.

Below given are the Marks for UPSC Prelims General Studies Paper-I that would have procured for mains exam. (Marks scored out of 200):

1 Note: Candidates have to score a minimum of 33% marks in General Studies Paper-II,along with the minimum qualifying marks stated above for GS Paper 1.

Below given are the Marks for UPSC CSE Mains that would have procured for Interview. (Marks out of 1750): 2 Note:Each of the seven competitive papers i.e. Essay, GS‐I, GS‐II, GS‐III, GS‐IVare subject to 10% marks, while Optional‐I and Optional‐II papers requires 25% marks.

Cutoff marks for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2015: Analysis

While the cut-off percentage for UPSC CSE prelims has gone up by around 2% in 2015 in comparison with last year, the cut-off percentage remained more or less the same for UPSC CSE mains (general category). Final cut-off marks came down by 22 marks this year (0.6%).

Given below are the marks for UPSC Civil Service Exam Prelims General Studies Paper-I for IFS that would have procured to IFS mains exam. (Marks out of 200): 4 Note: Candidates have to score above 33% marks for GS Paper-II In addition to the minimum qualifying marks stated above for GS Paper 1 for 200 marks.
