Who are the Dependent Family Members?
The following constitute dependent family members:-
(a) Spouse, or
(b) Son (including adopted son), or
(c) Daughter (including adopted daughter),or
(d) If Adopted, adoption should have occurred during the life of the government employee, according to the law of the land. Adoption by family members after the expiration of a govt servant is ineligible for Compassionate Ground Appointment.
(e) Brother or sister in the case of an unmarried Govt employee who was wholly dependent on him at the time of death in harness or retirement on medical grounds, as the case may be.

(b) Computerised Skill Test Norms: English typing at a speed of at least 35 words per minute on a computer OR Hindi typing at a speed of at least 30 words per minute on a computer (Time allowed-10 minutes). |
Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic (Male candidates only) | (a) 10th grade from a recognised board, plus a diploma in Radio and Television Technology, Electronics or Telecommunications, Computer, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Domestic Appliances from any institution recognised by the Central Government or the State Government. OR
(b) 12th Standard or Intermediate or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognised board, university, or institution. Norms for Trade (Skill) Tests Examining malfunctioning radio equipment, locating defects such as loose connections, broken wires, or burned-out components, using test equipment, installing, adjusting, and repairing mobile radio transmission, radio signal receiving eqpts, radio communication systems, removing and replacing defective components and parts such as conductors, resistors, semiconductors, and integrated circuits using hand tools, repairing circuits, wiring, and soldering will be required. |
