Factors Affecting SEBI Grade A Cut-Off Marks
The cut-off marks for the SEBI Grade A might vary from year to year due to a variety of factors that are known to influence the cut-off. The recruiting board establishes cutoffs while keeping all of these considerations in mind. The factors are
Difficulty Level of the Paper: If the paper is difficult, the cut off may be reduced, and if the paper is not difficult, the cut off may be increased.
Number of applicants: If there are more people who apply, the cut-offs may be higher and there may be more competition.
Number of Vacancies: The higher the vacancy, the lower the cut-off, and the lower the vacancy, the higher the cut off.

Steps to Calculate the SEBI Grade A Exam Marks
After the completion of the examination, the SEBI Grade A Answer Key will be available on the official website of the SEBI. Candidates can calculate their approximate marks by checking their attempted questions and referring to the answer key using the following method:
For Phase 1: the Online Screening Test
- There will be 200 questions in all.
- Each question is for one mark.
- Each correct answer will give candidates 1 marks and each incorrect answer will cost the candidate 0.25 marks.
For Phase 2: the Online Exam
- Paper I will have a descriptive paper in English.
- Paper II will have a total of 100 questions.
- In Paper II, each question is for one mark.
- Each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
Calculate the total marks of a number of correct answers and subtract the marks of the wrong answers from the total sum. The result will be the approximate total marks scored by the candidate.
