Syllabus for DSSSB PRT Exam
General Awareness: Questions from the general awareness section test a candidate’s general awareness of the environment and its social applications. This area involves current affairs and events questions from major subjects such as history, geography, general science, economics, and scientific research.
General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability: The DSSSB General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability section include verbal and nonverbal questions. This section tests a candidate’s visual interpretation, problem-solving skills, observation skills, relationship analysis and clarity, arithmetical reasoning, verbal classification, etc.
Arithmetical and Numerical Ability: This section covers Number Systems, including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, Lowest Common Multiple and Highest Common Factor, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Average, Time, Work, and Distance, etc.
Hindi Language and Comprehension: This part of the syllabus tests the candidate’s understanding and comprehension of the Hindi language and skills. Generally, this section tests Hindi knowledge with questions on Hindi Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Grammar, Sentence Structure and their correct usage.
