UPPSC Answer Key – Calculation of Score
To calculate the marks of the PCS prelims exam, candidates are required to refer to the UPPSC Prelims answer key for PCS 2023 exam given here. Then follow the steps given below to calculate UPPSC marks using the answer key.
- There are 150 Questions in GS – Paper 1 of the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam. These questions carry 200 marks. The GS second paper is only qualifying in nature.
- Each question carries a 1.33 mark.
- For each incorrect answer, 1/3rd marks allotted to the question shall be deducted.
- Total marks obtained by the Aspirant = (Number of correct answers X 1.33 – Number of Incorrect answers X 0.44).
- No marks are deducted for questions that are left black. So do not include those while calculating UPPSC marks.
