Prime Minister of India
- Article 74 of the Constitution says that, there shall be a Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to aid and advise the President.
- The Prime Minister of India is appointed by the President.
- He must be a citizen of India,a member of Rajya Sabha or Lok Sabha within six months, and should have completed the age of 30 for Rajya Sabha and 25 for Lok Sabha.
- He is the real head of the government.
- He is obliged to resign if he loses confidence in the Lok Sabha.
