The retirement age of the Prime Minister of India is not mentioned in the Indian Constitution.He serves at ‘the pleasure of the president’.

The term of the Prime Minister is five years, which is the tenure of the Lok Sabha.

As long as a person enjoys the confidence of the majority of the Lok Sabha, he can continue in power.

Any member of Lok Sabha having an age of 25, and in Rajya Sabha, having age of 30 are eligible to be the Prime Minister of India.

Article 74 of the Constitution says that, there shall be a Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to aid and advise the President.
The Prime Minister of India is appointed by the President.
He must be a citizen of India,a member of Rajya Sabha or Lok Sabha within six months, and should have completed the age of 30 for Rajya Sabha and 25 for Lok Sabha.
He is the real head of the government.
He is obliged to resign if he loses confidence in the Lok Sabha.
