What are glaciers made of?

Glaciers are made of crystalline ice, snow, rock, sediment, and often liquid water that originates on land and moves downslope under the influence of its own weight and gravity. The movement of glaciers is slow, unlike water flow. The movement could be a few centimetres to a few metres a day or even less or more.
