What is biomagnification and how does it work?

Biomagnification is any concentration of a toxin in the tissues of tolerant organisms at successively higher levels in a food chain.

Biomagnification happens when the pollutants increase from a link in the food chain to another. And will result in the top predator of the food chain. The example of it is a polluted fish contaminating the next consumer and continues up a tropic food web chain
