What is the financial stability report of the RBI?

The financial stability report of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) throws light on the assessment done by the sub committee of Financial Stability and Development Council on resilience of the financial system, risks to the financial stability.You can read about the Financial Stability and Development Council (FSDC) – UPSC Notes in the given link.

The 23rd issue of the Financial Stability Report was published by the RBI on 1st July, 2021. RBI releases the Financial Stability Report twice in a year. It focuses on the strength of the banking sector, macro financial risks, major challenges etc.
