What is the naval exercise between Bangladesh and India?

Bongo Sagar is the naval exercise between Bangladesh and India. The first edition of Bongo Sagar was held in 2019. 

As per the press release by the Ministry of Defense, India, the exercise is aimed at developing interoperability and joint operational skills through conduct of maritime exercises and operations.

The second edition of Bongo Sagar took place on 3rd October 2020 in the northern Bay of Bengal. The Bongo Sagar Exercise reflected the priority that Indian Navy accords to the Bangladesh Navy as part of the SAGAR (Security And Growth for All in the Region) Vision.
