The site at village Banwali, Fatehabad is on the dry bed of ancient river Sarasvati. It is protected by the Government of India and on excavation by ASI three-fold culture sequence: Pre-Harappan (Early-Harappan), Harappan and Bara (post-Harappan) were yielded.
