Financial Emergency is written under Article 360 in the Constitution. It can be declared by the President if he is satisfied that a situation has arisen due to which the financial stability or credit of India or any part of India is threatened.
Other types of emergencies:
- Article 352 – Proclamation of National Emergency
- Article 356 – Provisions in case of failure of constitutional machinery in states.
