- Indian Foreign Services (IFS) – these diplomats represent the country in the foreign nation, with a maximum period of three years in one country. Along with the salaries and perks of Grade A employees they get additional foreign allowances.
- Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) – this is the most sought after government job in the country. Their entry level pay is somewhere between fifty to sixty thousand rupees along with dearness allowance. The perks offered are also unmatchable.
- Defense Services – this includes exams like CDS, NDA, AFCAT, etc. These officials get more salary and perks than their civil counterparts. Their pay and perks vary depending upon the services and the location. Their entry level salary is somewhere between fifty to sixty thousand plus DA.
