Which is the Highest Mountain in the World?

Mount Everest, located on the border between China and Nepal, has an altitude of 8,848.86 meters (29,031.69 feet) – making it the highest mountain in the world.

It is called the highest mountain of the world because it has the “highest elevation above sea level” i.e. 29029 feet above sea level.
