The highest number of International boundaries shared by any Indian State is three. There are 3 Indian states which share international boundaries with 3 countries. These states are Sikkim, West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh.
- Sikkim – Bhutan in the east, China in the north and Nepal in the west.
- West Bengal – Bangladesh in the east, Nepal in the north and Bhutan in the northeast.
- Arunachal Pradesh – Myanmar in the east, China in the north and Bhutan in the west.
