The Indus Valley Civilization was unique due to the technological advancements of its inhabitants. The Indus Valley people achieved many notable advances in technology, including great accuracy in their systems and tools for measuring length and mass.
In addition the cities of Mohenjo Daro and Harappa showed what is thought to be an advanced form of urban sanitation system not common in other ancient cities of the world.
