JAC Class 8

The Jharkhand Academic Council is established by the government on 4th March 2003. JAC was established for holding and conducting examinations of Intermediate, Secondary, Madhyama and Madrasa. The Board introduced the CBSE curriculum from the primary stage to the intermediate stage to enable students to take part in the main current of the national education-programme freely and naturally. The Board follows the NCERT textbooks and in order to wave out difficulties in teaching CBSE courses, the board conducts some Orientation Courses and Workshops in collaboration with some eminent scholars.

JAC governs the teaching pattern for all classes and full syllabus and exam system for all subjects that all school affiliated under JAC. The syllabus of Class 8 is prescribed by BSEB for that particular academic session. The Board is the sole authority to revise or update the syllabus of Class 8 and its textbooks following the changes according to the CBSE board.
