How To Balance Both Board And JEE Exams?

Exams are an important part of our lives. While there are different types of exams the most crucial ones for Indian students are the 12th board exams and entrance exams. Both are equally important especially for candidates who are looking to pursue a career in the technical and engineering field. Having said that, candidates must have an ideal strategy to prepare for both exams simultaneously.

Besides, with the right preparation strategy, it is possible to achieve a good score in both exams. In this article, we will introduce some simple tips that you can follow to ace your board and JEE exams.

Tip 1 – Know the Syllabus and Exam Pattern

It is essential to understand the exam pattern and syllabus of both exams before starting your exam preparations. Board exams cover the syllabus till class 12 whereas JEE Main 2023 covers both the 11th and 12th class syllabus. Therefore, you should thoroughly understand the syllabus and pattern of both exams to avoid confusion. Remember to prepare for both exams simultaneously to save time.

Tip 2 – Planning

The first step to do anything successful requires proper planning. Assign topics from all the subjects based on the number of hours that you can spend on the preparation. Assign one complicated and one easy topic in a day and finish the complicated topic first. Competitive exams like JEE contains MCQ’s and Numerical questions which only be solved with constant practice. Mathematics and Physics contain numerical questions.  Practising the problems from these two subjects every day will give you enough confidence to solve the problems easily in the examination hall.

Making notes is one of the most important steps required to ace JEE exams. As the syllabus of these competitive exams is huge, students might forget the concepts that they have learnt.
