JEE Advanced 2021 which was scheduled to be conducted on July 3rd has been postponed. The entrance test for admission to several technical and engineering institutions has been postponed by the organising institute which is IIT Kharagpur for the year 2021.
The exam authority broke the news regarding the postponement of the JEE Advanced exam on the official website (http://jeeadv.ac.in/). As per the notification, this step has been taken due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
IIT Kharagpur’s official statement, “Considering the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 03, 2021 (Saturday) stands postponed.”
As for the new exam schedule or exam date, the exam authority will announce it at a later stage. The exam authority has stated, “The revised date of examination will be announced at an appropriate time.” No further information has been provided.
Alternatively, JEE Main 2021 May session has also been postponed and new dates will be announced shortly.
