JEE Main 2021 latest information for the upcoming session has now been released by National Testing Agency on its official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in). Candidates who are planning to appear for the JEE Main 2021 exam can check major changes announced by NTA on this page. Some of the significant changes introduced in the JEE Main 2021 exam are listed below.
Exam To Be Conducted In Multiple Sessions
NTA has decided to conduct Paper 1 of JEE Main in 4 sessions – February, March, April and May 2021. Whereas, Paper 2A and Paper 2B will be held only twice a year in February and May 2021.
Earlier, JEE Main was conducted in two sessions – January and April. Amidst the prevailing COVID-19 situation and board examinations, which may be held at different months across the states/UTs, NTA has decided to conduct JEE Main in more than two sessions.

Important: A student can apply for all the 4 sessions in one go to avoid the hassles of repeated application and form filling.
JEE Main 2021 To Be Conducted In 13 Languages
JEE Main 2021 would be conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Urdu and in 8 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.

Applicants must note that when completing the online application form, they should exercise the option of selecting a language for the question paper. NTA mentioned that it cannot be changed at a later date. In addition, the English version is considered final for the correctness of the questions in all the JEE Main question papers.
JEE Main 2021 Paper Pattern Revision
NTA has also decided to revise the JEE Main 2021 paper pattern. As per the new pattern, the exam will have 90 questions instead of 75. Physics, Chemistry and Maths will now have 30 questions each. Each subject will have two sections. Section A will contain 20 MCQs and Section B will contain 10 Numerical value answer based questions. Candidates have to attempt any 5 questions out of 10 in section B. There will be no negative marking in Section B.
