Drawing Made Easy – How to Draw King for Kids? 

Kids love to draw and colour images. They will enjoy drawing an image of a king and filling him with the most precise colours. Learning how to draw a king will be a fun exercise by following the step-by-step instructions mentioned below. 

Step 1: Take a drawing sheet, eraser, pencil, marker, and colouring supplies.

Step 2: Use a pencil to sketch the outline of the portrait. Start by drawing the head and torso part of the king. Sketch a circle in the middle of the paper to form the head of the king. 

Step 3: To complete the torso part, draw two symmetrical vertically curved lines from the bottom part of the circle and connect them with a horizontal straight line. 

Step 4: Sketch the crown over the circle. Draw two oblique lines from the right and left top part of the circle and add a zig-zag connecting the top end of the oblique lines. 

Step 5: Connect the bottom part of the oblique line using a straight horizontal line and parallelly draw another line over it. 

Step 6: Add details to the crown. Draw three oval shapes at equal distances from one another to form the precious stone in the crown. 

Step 7: Complete the facial features by drawing eyes, eyebrows, and nose. To make the king appear cute and look like a cartoon character, draw two oval eyes, eyebrows with two curved lines, and a funny nose with another small curved line. 

Step 8: Draw ears for the king. Use two simple curves to form the ears of the king. 

Step 9: Sketch the moustache and beard for the king. Start by drawing a small right curved line in the right part of the king’s face connecting the crown. Similarly, draw a left curved line in the left part of the portrait.
