Step 1: Take a clean white paper and place it in a landscape position (horizontally).

Step 2: Draw a big rectangle inside the paper to form the border of the picture. Make it appear like a frame of the image.

Step 3: Start drawing images inside the rectangle. Begin by drawing a tree which is standing near the flowing river.

Step 4: Draw multiple horizontal curves in the right top part of the paper to form the leafy canopy of the tree.

Step 7: Start drawing the river by sketching a wavy line going down on the left-hand side of the image. Connect the wavy line to the left end of the slightly slanted line that is drawn behind the tree.

Step 8: Draw another wavy line on the right side of the previously drawn line to complete the outline of the river.

Step 9: Add details to the river. Draw some large round rocks in the middle of the river. And add some small wavy lines to produce a flowing appearance to the river.

Step 10: Draw pointed grasses at the base of the tree and along the sides of the river to enhance the natural beauty of the picture.
