The Karnataka Board conducts the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exams in the state, every year. The numbers dipped low in 2017, when 7,64,950 students appeared for their Class 10 Karnataka Board Exams. In 2021, as many as 8,71,443 students appeared, out of which, all were declared successful. This year, 85.63% of the students passed the board exams, which is the highest recorded pass percentage. 145 students scored 625/625 marks. This year too, the number of girls that passed is higher than the number of boys at 90.29%.  81.30% of the boys who wrote the SSLC (Class 10) exams have passed.
