The Karnataka secondary education board was founded in 1964, came into force in 1966. The board oughted to be one of the best education systems in the south of India, has approximately 8-9 lakh students appearing for exams every year. Headquartered in Bangalore, has its operating offices spread across multiple districts of Karnataka. The KSEEB(Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) standardizes it’s swift operation through a number of educational policies and rules around the academic sphere.
The board not only aims at providing different schemes which helps students improve their soft skills and in extracurricular aspects but also makes them better human beings and socially responsible people. Although KSEEB is doing exceptionally well and has come a long way, it still has a long way to go. Here is where the Government of Karnataka(Gok) comes into the picture, providing all the necessary aid to the board which has always aimed at a holistic approach towards the education system furthering its efforts to gain maximum benefits in all its academic endeavours possible.
The KSEEB(Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) stands out to be one of the most distinguished boards in India for education. No wonder, it is arguably called the education hub of India. It is looking at a long term plan that intends to sow seeds of better quality education than existing one to reap benefits from a flourishing youth.
According to the Gok(Government of Karnataka), if the Vision 2020 guidelines are followed systematically, the state could see a massive jump in the student enrollment from an 18% to a whopping 35% which could be attained either by forming more number of institutions or by increasing the number of enrollments.
Examinations are conducted by the KSEEB generally in the months of March-April and supplementary examinations in the month of June.
Syllabus gives an outline of the course. Gives a brief idea of the topics included and their description.
It has been devised as per guidelines received by the board in order to stay inclined with the latest in the state. Topics are included after filtering from a variety of resources post careful introspection and references from experts. Syllabus certainly comes in as a blessing during crunch time which most of us find ourselves into either intentionally or unintentionally.
Question papers are offered too. Practicing these papers alone fetches a lot of marks apart from studying throughout. Time and again we have been advised to work smart rather than hard. These question papers are your answer to that. Solving these papers gives us an idea about various aspects of a paper such as: question paper pattern, marking scheme, distribution of marks-chapterwise, making studying stress free and in much lesser time. With this we can also deduce type of questions asked in a chapter under different question types such as, MCQs, short type of question, long type of questions, essays etc. intrinsically giving an idea as to which of the skills is being tested through those questions.
Surfing through our portal also would provide you access to textbooks. These books have been designed as per the student’s calibre. It also includes various engaging activities, which could be conducted by teachers to make their classes engaging and lively. Experiments in the textbooks are another favourites amongst our science enthusiasts.
