The Karnataka secondary education board was founded in 1964, came into force in 1966. The board oughted to be one of the best education systems in the south of India, has approximately 8-9 lakh students appearing for exams every year. The KSEEB(Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) standardizes it’s swift operation through a number of educational policies and rules around the academic sphere.

Although KSEEB is doing exceptionally well and has come a long way, it still has a long way to go. Here is where the Government of Karnataka(Gok) comes into the picture, providing all the necessary aid to the board which has always aimed at a holistic approach towards the education system furthering its efforts to gain maximum benefits in all its academic endeavours possible.

The KSEEB(Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) stands out to be one of the most distinguished boards in India for education. No wonder, it is arguably called the education hub of India. It is looking at a long term plan that intends to sow seeds of better quality education than existing one to reap benefits from a flourishing youth.

According to the Gok(Government of Karnataka), if the Vision 2020 guidelines are followed systematically, the state could see a massive jump in the student enrollment from an 18% to a whopping 35% which could be attained either by forming more number of institutions or by increasing the number of enrollments.

Examinations are conducted by the KSEEB generally in the months of March-April and supplementary examinations in the month of June.
